Changing Learning to Meet the Need

Finding ways to stretch the mind in gifted homeschooling.

Finding ways to stretch the mind of a child who learns and adapts at such a high rate is a daunting task. For the longest time I felt so alone. I felt like no one could possibly understand what I was going through in trying to meet his needs. After last years homeschool convention though, the world of gifted learning was opened up to me.

I’ve found so many helpful sites, blogs and community groups on facebook. One of the things that I have learned is that sometimes, the USA, is NOT the best place to find resources.

I want to share a resource with you that I found just today. This resource isn’t just for teachers or parents of gifted kids, but has a lot of resources for the kids to use themselves. It has website information for games, puzzles, study resources and much more, all geared for gifted kids, gifted teens, gifted adults, their parents and teachers.

The website is it’s a resource in Ireland. I will be researching this website more fully in the days to come. My hope is that I will find additional resources, games and information to help my marvelous Little Man to expand his mind to his fullest potential.

At first glance, these are some of the websites that I’m anxious to dive into that I have found on the site.
